Mark as Useful Spoke with a Daniel. Says there is a file there in my name. The first call they were very persistent that they had to have payments immediately. Now they are more relaxed, and wanting to "work" with me. I'm just trying to find out if they are legitimate.

Mark as Useful I received two text messages concerning IRS relief, which I do not need. But responded with yes so I could tell them to stop texting me. Then someone called me back from this number, she said her name was Lauren and when I told her to stop texting me she hung up. What can I do to stop this.

Mark as Useful This guy called today - got my phone number from my business filing, I'm sure. Gave me the "you're a hard person to get a hold of" line and a few others. I did what I do with all telemarketers I don't want to talk to... I hung up. For all of you annoyed folks - get this technique: JUST HANG UP!!! Telling anything to this type is a waste of energy. If you hang up - he can't cuss at you! Try it - you'll like it!

Mark as Useful I received an e-mail that posted this Verizon telephone number. In the text of the e-mail they ask for money:
"I will like you to please assist me with a soft loan of 13 hundred in British pounds(£1300)approximately 1,943.49 in USD.I need it urgently to sort-out my Cousin's bills, the hospital management is demanding for a deposit before they can invite a surgeon from Malaysia to carry out the surgery but she has been place on a temporary medical care prior the time we make the deposit.I know its been a longtime and i don't want you to see these like something else."
